About the Role
As a Recovery Coach with MD Home Care in {suburb}, you’ll support individuals with psychosocial disability to build their capacity and work toward their recovery goals. You’ll provide coaching that is strengths-based, person-centered, and focused on enhancing independence and community participation. This position offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to make a significant difference in people’s lives.
What You’ll Do
- Provide coaching and mentoring to build capacity and independence
- Support clients to identify and work toward personal recovery goals
- Help clients develop skills for everyday living
- Facilitate connections to community resources and supports
- Support engagement with clinical services when needed
- Empower clients to self-advocate and make informed choices
- Provide education about mental health and wellbeing
- Document progress and contribute to NDIS reporting
- Work collaboratively with other service providers

Required Qualifications
Our recovery coaches must meet these requirements to ensure the highest quality of support for our clients:
- Experience in mental health or psychosocial disability support
- Lived experience of mental health challenges (valued)
- Strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transport and current driver’s license
- Certificate IV in Mental Health or related field (preferred)
Essential Certifications
To work with us, you’ll need:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid Certificate
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Certificate IV in Mental Health (preferred)
Location
This position is available in {suburb} and surrounding areas. We have multiple positions available across different shifts and locations to suit your availability.
