About the Role

As a Dietitian with MD Home Care in {suburb}, you’ll provide expert nutrition assessment, counseling, and meal planning to help clients improve their health, manage chronic conditions, and enhance their quality of life. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients, including elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and those with complex health needs. What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments
  • Develop personalized nutrition care plans
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy for various health conditions
  • Create meal plans tailored to individual needs and preferences
  • Support clients with dysphagia and texture-modified diets
  • Provide education on healthy eating and specific diets
  • Monitor nutritional status and adjust plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain detailed clinical documentation
  • Contribute to NDIS and aged care reporting

Required Qualifications

Our dietitians must meet these requirements to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Accredited Practising Dietitian status with Dietitians Australia
  • Strong clinical assessment and counseling skills
  • Knowledge of therapeutic diets and medical nutrition therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in community or aged care settings (preferred)

Essential Certifications

  • Dietitians Australia membership
  • National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (for disability clients)
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • COVID-19 Vaccination
