About the Role

As a Transport Driver with MD Home Care in {suburb}, you’ll provide safe, reliable transportation for clients who need assistance getting to medical appointments, shopping, social activities, and other essential services. You’ll support elderly clients, people with disabilities, and individuals with mobility challenges to maintain their independence and connection to the community. What You’ll Do

• Transport clients to and from appointments and activities
• Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle
• Help with mobility aids such as walkers and wheelchairs
• Provide door-to-door service and accompaniment as needed
• Ensure client comfort and safety during transport
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness
• Keep accurate records of trips and client services
• Follow efficient routes and maintain punctuality
• Communicate professionally with clients and healthcare providers
• Monitor client wellbeing and report any concerns

Required Qualifications

Our transport drivers must meet these requirements to ensure the highest quality of service for our clients:

• Current driver’s license with excellent driving record
• Experience driving a variety of vehicles
• Knowledge of local area and transportation routes

Essential Certifications

To work with us, you’ll need:

• Driver’s License (minimum 2 years)
• National Police Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• First Aid Certificate
• Driver Accreditation/Authority (depending on state requirements)
• COVID-19 Vaccination
