About the Role
As a Transport Driver with MD Home Care in {suburb}, you’ll provide safe, reliable transportation for clients who need assistance getting to medical appointments, shopping, social activities, and other essential services. You’ll support elderly clients, people with disabilities, and individuals with mobility challenges to maintain their independence and connection to the community. This position offers flexible working arrangements and meaningful interaction with grateful clients.
What You’ll Do
- Transport clients to and from appointments and activities
- Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle
- Help with mobility aids such as walkers and wheelchairs
- Provide door-to-door service and accompaniment as needed
- Ensure client comfort and safety during transport
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness
- Keep accurate records of trips and client services
- Follow efficient routes and maintain punctuality
- Communicate professionally with clients and healthcare providers
- Monitor client wellbeing and report any concerns
